Wisdom Points - Taken From This Discourse
01. Wisdom Point 01 - about overcoming our pride
We must realize that pride is a natural part of what God did within us, which is to place all of His wealth within us, which is hell and heaven, good and evil, and all of His qualities, and the victory of our life is wisdom reasoning over fate, is wisdom subduing all of the things within us that have pride.
In this way, the victory of our life is overcoming all of the pride within us, is the qualities of our inner selves, which are the six faces of wisdom or clarity within us known as Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of God be upon Him), being victorious over the qualities of our outer selves, which are the faces of the six separate people within us, known as the six deadly sins - lust, hatred, miserliness, delusion, bigotry, and malice (see Chapter 21, "The Six Faces", and Chapter 33, "The Ten Evil Sins" for more on this point).
